JAMES BEST NARRATOR While he is probably most widely known for his role as Rosco P. Coltrane in the long running television hit, "The Dukes of Hazzard" James Best has built impressive career on both stage and screen. He has appeared in more than 600 television shows, and 83 features like "The Twilight Zone", "Gunsmoke", "Andy Griffith Show", "Bonanza", to "The Cain Mutiny" with Humphrey Bogart, and "Seminole" with Rock Hudson and Anthony Quinn, to name a few. Mr. Best is also an accomplished painter (oil and watercolor), song writer, and devote fisherman, now lives in Florida. He and his lovely actress wife Dorothy and his daughter Janeen Best have formed their own Independent Film Company. It is appropriately called "Best Friend Films". BILL SUCHY WRITER Bill has created, written and/or produced over forty programs aired on PBS. They Include the WNET PBS NATURE Special Cats, the Oscar nominated feature documentary, Building Bombs (narrated by Jane Alexander), the highly acclaimed series, Writing in the Upward Years, featuring poets Richard Eberhart, May Sarton and Molly Harrower, and the acclaimed wildlife specials, In Praise of Wild Florida and For the Love of Manatees. Bill also created, executive produced, wrote and directed the Emmy nominated children's series, Secrets of the Animal Kingdom, syndicated to ABC, FOX, and Warner Brothers. He also co-wrote and produced the feature film, Deadly Species and was head writer for Ed McMahon's NEXT BIG STAR (PAX), and writer/producer of the series American Health & Fitness (FOX Health Network), and Rollerjam (TNN).
Producer Producer/Director Gregory Trent has over 12 years experience with PBS having produced many documentaries, public affairs and informational programs along with over 1,000 hours of live television. Mr. Trent has also worked on several national series as a Location Manager for the South Carolina ETV's Adventures in Scale Modeling and was the Set and Lighting Designer for The Needle Workshop Series. He is also the recipient of the bronze 2001 National Telly Award for the local Documentary: SECRETS OF THE YMCA. |
