WMFE - DT / Channel 24
WMFE now offers
more choices of the entertaining and educational
programs you count on. And, in a high quality
digital format! In addition to WMFE-TV Analog
Channel 24, WMFE can transmit up to five digital
channels of programming simultaneously. This is
called multicasting. WMFE’s new channels
are WMFE-HD,
WMFE-ED,
WMFE CFAN, V-me Un Servicio de WMFE and
WMFE Encore!
WMFE-HD
replicates the programming on WMFE-TV Analog,
but telecasts in digital and in widescreen high
definition (HDTV) when available. HDTV is the
highest quality video picture available in digital
television, with more than twice the resolution
and clarity of standard or analog television.
Programs telecast in HD format include Nova,
Great Performances
and Soundstage.
V-me un Servicio de WMFE

WMFE CFAN, Central Florida
Alliance Network, is
the centerpiece of our commitment to the community,
with all local programming on one channel. Partnerships
with area media outlets are being developed to
bring you relevant and interesting information
about where you live – Central Florida.
Programs airing on WMFE CFAN include Assignment,
UCF Metro and
A Citrus Legacy.
WMFE Encore! On Encore, popular primetime PBS and WMFE programs are rebroadcast during the day. View second-run episodes of such favorites as Nature, Antiques Roadshow and more. |
